For the last time! Neymar and Ronaldo reports are all fake news! Don't buy into the click bait. PSG spent a ton acquiring Neymar, and despite media fake news reports that he is unhappy, he has been performing well for PSG.

Most likely all this fake news revolves around Ronaldo seeking a new contract at the end of the season.  I don't think Real Madrid are keen to tie up their coffers for another contract with Ronaldo. Don't pay any attention to these reports now, because this is all you will read and hear about during the summer after the seasons are put to bed.

You can't make this stuff up. In an already active January transfer window, it looks like Chelsea will have something to do with Aubameyang to Arsenal:
 - Giroud to Chelsea for 15million transfer fee
 - Aubameyang to Arsenal for 55million transfer fee
 - Batshuayi to Dortmund on loan from Chelsea

Dortmund forcing the complicated deal as they only will sign off on Aubameyang only if they have a replacement. Early in the discussions it seemed that Giroud would be included in the Aubameyang deal, going to Dortmund .... BUT ... reports state that Dortmund only wanted Giroud on loan and was unwilling to pay any transfer fees. Arsenal values Giroud at 30million. Now with the Dzeko deal unwinding for Chelsea they are desperate to sign a striker not named Crouch. So now in a weird three way, Chelsea would supply the cheap striker Dortmund need in Batshuayi on loan. Chelsea would pay a 15million transfer fee to Arsenal for Giroud, and then finally Arsenal will be able to back up the dump truck of cash for Aubameyang.

Oh and they only have a day left to make it all happen.

I love this deal for West Bromwich Albion. They will receive Daniel Strurridge on loan from Liverpool. West Brom is in 19th at the bottom of the table looking at a tough schedule ahead. I love this move to help them escape relegation on the season. Sturridge will arrive at West Brom with a lot to play for to increase his value before this summer.

Watford to sign Barcelona attacker Gerard Deulofeu on loan through the end of the season. You might know Deulofeu more from his play a few seasons ago with Everton than anything with Barcelona. He is a Spanish International who has bounced around leagues for several years. His travels read like this: Barcelona to Everton on loan to Sevilla on loan back to Everton to Milan on loan back to Barcelona and now to Watford on loan. All that in the past 5 years, and he is only 23 years old. Let's hope poor Gerard is successful at Watford and he finds a permanent home after this season.

The runaway juggernaut in the Premiere League, Manchester City may have just filled the one gap in their potent lineup. City is stealing away Aymeric Laporte from my favorite La Liga club Athletic Bilboa. With all the money flying in this January transfer window, the 60million fee paid by City for Laporte would be a club record. Give credit to Manchester City for building this squad. The previous club record transfer fee was Kevin DeBruyne in 2015 for 55million.

Laporte is a 23 year old French International center back. He has made 161 appearances for Athletic Bilboa since 2012. He is expected to be a long term replacement for Vincent Kompany on the back line for City.

Lucas Moura is reportedly close to a move from PSG to Tottenham for 25million. The 25 year old Brazilian international made 152 appearances for PSG as a midfielder since 2013. Lucas has been cast aside by PSG this season with zero appearances in League 1 play. The arrival of Verratti and Draxler have made Lucas unneeded.

Finally, this is getting a little into-the-weeds, but Monaco has landed another top youth talent. The club has become world renowned for their youth development in recent years. Pietro Pellegri, a 16 year old Italian dubbed the next Messi chose Monaco over Jueventus and Arsenal. The teenager is already a big deal. Monaco paid 25million to Genoa in Serie A for the rights to Pellegri.
